In case you missed it, I recently gave a talk at EmacsConf on Attribution-Based Economics:
Although the scope of ABE is very wide, we are starting somewhere where traditional economic systems clearly don’t work, to prove the concept before branching out into other regimes where traditional systems do work (albeit poorly, in many respects). The problem is that there are many ways to contribute value, and only a few ways to get paid. ABE bridges this gap. Watch the talk to get a sense of where we are, and also, don’t miss the written Q&A and some of these other milestones:
- ABE Launch announcement — when we paid contributors for the first time.
- ABE Financial Model — we’re not reinventing finance. Only revealing its natural, simple form when translated into the ABE paradigm.
ABE could not have gotten this far, and it cannot go further, without the support and help of people like you. If you’d like to help, please stop by at any ABE event to learn how you can be involved. Whatever you can do, I’m sure we can find a use for!
